Home For The Holidays: Skillet Bacon Jam Review and Giveaway CLOSED!

What is Bacon Jam? That is the question I had until I received a jar of this awesome Bacon Spread to review!! This stuff is awesome. We have used it on our grilled cheese, burgers and other sandwiches. My husband is hooked on this stuff, and let me just say that once you try it you will be too, it is just so mouth watering and tasty! Here is some info on this awesome spread!

About 3 years ago, Skillet Street Food started. They focused on creating chef driven food, out of an airstream trailer. One of their signature items was our burger, which was grass fed beef, arugula, brioche, cambozola cheese and Bacon Jam.  People started asking them if they sold it, and after a brief period of time they started to sell it on their street food trailer …….

and then martha stewart called and it was bananas after that...

…….they take a big bunch of really really good bacon, and render it down...add a bunch of spices..onions, etc..and let it simmer for about 6 hours…give it a quick puree, blast chill it…and you have bacon jam..
