When it comes to our kids who are school aged, we find that during the school year, especially during the cold and flu seasons, that we depend on the staff and faculty at the schools to care for our kids during the day. Like many, I can really appreciate all that the school nurse at my kid's schools do for them. From the fixing of a scrape after tripping on the playground, to taking their temps and caring for them in the nurses office as they wait for either myself or my husband to arrive, I find that the school nurses play a big role in the care for our kids when they are at school.
