One of the things that my kids love is pizza, aside from getting a pizza, my kids love it when we make our own pizzas. We all find the experience of being in the kitchen together and everyone having a job and input on what we are making, to be a great way to bond with the kids. We try to incorporate the kids in the kitchen as much as possible, so when we were sent the awesome pizza making kit along with the coupons for the new Artisan Pizza Crust with Whole Grain from Pillsbury to try out and review, the kids were ecstatic to try everything out and make their own pizza! We loved that we were able to set the pizza dough up very easily, so it was something we were able to delegate to the kids to do. We were sent a food chopper with storage containers to help with making our toppings, and Robert loved being able to chop up the fresh vegetables that we would add to our pizzas. Once the dough was ready and the toppings were also ready, we let the kids put on their sauce and add their toppings to their pizza. Not only did the kids have fun making their pizza, but it came out looking great and my husband and I loved that the crust was made with whole grain and with each serving, they will get 16 grams of whole grain! 

Once the kids pizza was in the oven, my husband and I put together a pizza for us to eat. Since I am on a diet, we made a pizza that would meet my calorie requirements and still taste good. We added fresh vegetables to the pizza, and with the blend of vegetables we were able to have enough flavors to where we did not have a need for cheese or any extra sauces! The pizzas we made all came out with amazing flavor and were also a lot better for everyone than the traditional pizzas that we usually make, and since my family is eating healthier these days with me, these pizzas were perfect for adding to the mix of healthier ways of eating for the whole family!
