#Giveaway Energizer Prize Pack: Change Your Clock Change Your Battery CLOSED!

November 4th is Daylight Savings Time this year and with that in mind, dont forget to change your clocks. On top of changing your clocks in your home, go around and change out the batteries in your smoke alarms, so that you and your family continue to stay safe when it comes to a house fire. Did you know that 38% of all fatal fire injuries occur in homes with no smoke alarms, and 24% occur in homes that do have at least one alarm but fails to operate, which is frequently due to missing or dead batteries. Christmas is coming up and it is the biggest time of year for house fires, between the cooking and the trees, you want this holiday season to be a merry one not a scary one! Recently I was sent a great prize pack from Energizer that included a new smoke detector, batteries, flashlight, and a flameless scented candle that was all in a great reusable tote! Aside from the season and Daylight Savings Time, we are also faced with many homes without power due to the recent Hurricane Sandy that has devastated many on the East Coast. With that said, this prize pack that I was sent would not only be good for keeping safe this holiday season, but would also come in handy for a blackout. Sure we can light candles, but candles can be very dangerous and are a big cause of house fires every year, so instead of lighting candles when the lights go out you can use flashlights and flameless candles. Also having a working smoke and carbon monoxide detector in every room will also keep you and your loved ones safe during a blackout, storms and all year round for that matter!
