The Summer is here and with the warmer weather and many days spent outdoors, it is crucial that not only we take care of our families skin, but as moms, we take care of our own skin. I know that when I am getting ready in the mornings, my daughter is right there, watching my every move. To me that means, that not only do I need to watch and mind everything that I do throughout my day because all of my kids are watching, but now that my daughter is getting older, she is watching and looking up to me, her mom, to see how I take care of myself. She is seeing how I take care of my complexion, my hair and she watches very closely on how I apply my makeup as well. I know that I want her to grow up to take care of her own beautiful and precious complexion and hair, so I want to set the best example I can, and I know that when I use the products from P&G, I can show her what products to use and how to use them correctly. Recently I was sent a pack of great products from P&G that are perfect for starting this Summer of right and are also products that my daughter can follow my lead with. I know that with these products, I can explain to her on how they are and are not supposed to be used so that she will use them correctly when she is ready to use them. With her getting older and having the thick and curly hair that she does, she has found the Head and Shoulders line of products to be a line that she loves, not only does it help prevent any build up on her scalp, especially during these hot summer days, but with the shampoo and conditioner, she is able to manage her hair and style it! I was also sent some of the Covergirl + Olay Tone Rehab 2 in 1 Foundation to review as well. Even though I feel that she is too young for foundation at this time, my daughter is able to watch me put it on and learn how it is done, so when she is old enough, she will know how to apply it herself. Also, when she does get to that age to where she starts to wear foundation, I will suggest Covergirl, since that was the brand that I started with as well when I was a teenager, but she still has a few years until then. Along with the Covergirl + Olay Tone Rehab 2 in 1 Foundation, I was also sent a box of the Olay Smooth Finish Facial Hair Removal Duo. This is a product that I want my daughter to be very careful with, so that she knows that if and when she ever needs to use it, she comes to me for help. I do like that this facial hair remover is a gentle formula, and it gives you smooth and visibly hair free skin in just 2 steps! Now aside from doing our hair and makeup, one thing that both my daughter and my son have watched me do and have learned how to do by watching is brushing their teeth. It is a routine in our home, and it is one that I start with each of them from the time they are babies. Wyatt loves it, he thinks it is so cool to get up and join us in the bathroom to have his teeth brushed along with his siblings and mommy. My kids learned how to brush by first watching me and learning how I would brush their teeth everyday, then once they were old enough, doing it on their own, but still with me in the bathroom every morning.
