The summer is upon us and our kids are out of school, and with that comes our big move across the country to relocate from Texas to Washington. This trek was something we had wanted to do for quite some time and had planned out very carefully. For the kids and I, it was a adventure, one that neither of us had ever taken, and for my husband it was going back home to where he graduated high school from. Well like so many others when it comes to moving to a new home, we have found that it can be quite a bit of work, and making that new home warming and welcoming, and ours is something that I have been striving to do.
