Staying On Top of Fevers with the Exergen SmartGlow TemporalScanner

The colder weather is upon us and with that we find that those colds and flu's are rampant. In my house we have kids in school, and it seems that if something starts going around the school, I just need to be prepared because it will most likely make it into our home. So as a parent I like to stay on top of the fevers and know if my kids are getting sick from the start by having products like the Exergen SmartGlow TemporalScanner which we were sent for review.

This thermometer helps me to get accurate temperature readings, and I can read the temps in the dark, allowing me to let my kids rest while I take their temperatures since it lights up. I also like that the readings are fast, which allows me to take the temperature of even my most active kids when they are not feeling too hot. I also like that I can scan the foreheads, and getting a reading from the temporal artery.

Then when it comes to calling the doctor when those temps are getting high and I am not having any luck keeping them down at home, I can get a reading of the past 8 temperatures for reference, allowing me to give our doctor the most accurate information when it comes to treating my family. Making this thermometer a great one to have in any home when it comes to getting accurate readings and being prepared for the cold and flu season in the home!
