The weather is warming up and before we know it, the kids will be home for summer break. Like many parents, I find that I like to seek out the products and activities that are both fun and that keep their minds going. This allows us to enjoy our summer without having the issue of summer brain drain coming into the equation. So when we were sent the My First Lab STEM Starter Kit to review, we were excited to check it out and add it to our weekend and summer activity line ups!

See like many kids who look forward to the warmer weather that we have been enjoying, my kids take advantage of the time outdoors by not only playing but also by exploring the world around them. They are naturally curious, and when we incorporate this microscope kit as they explore, we can take a closer look at that mud they found in the yard compared to mud found down by the water, or the worm in the garden as well as the leaves and more we come across. Allowing us to compare materials and see the differences from a close up view.

Mothers Day Gift Ideas from Timolino

The month of April is in full swing, and before we know it, May will be upon us. With that, we find that now is a great time to seek out those gifts to give the moms in our lives for Mother's Day. Like many, I am one who enjoys seeking out a variety of gifts to give for the various moms I celebrate each year. And like many moms, I know that having products that can make our lives a little easier can be the way to go. So when we were sent the Tazza Vacuum Mug from the line up at Timolino to review, I was excited to check it out and add it to my list of great gifts to give this Mother's Day!

For me, I am one who is on the go quite a bit, and I find that when I am away from home, that I enjoy being able to drink my coffee while it is still hot, or drink my water while it is cold. Which is why I find the Tazza to be a great item to have on hand. It is sleek in design, allowing me to not only carry it easily in my car, but also in a tote or gym bag. I also like that aside from the size and look, that when I go to put those hot or cold beverages in my Tazza, that they will remain hot or cold for hours longer than with an average coffee mug or water bottle.

Then when I want to grab some tea or get a even fresher cup of coffee when I am running out of the house, I like that I can add fresh tea leaves or coffee grounds inside the cylinder then pour hot water over the top, and let the contents steep!
