Give Mom the Hip Baby Wrap this Mothers Day!

When it comes to finding those must have gifts to give mom this Mother's Day, we find that when it comes to the moms we know, that they are all at the various stages of motherhood. Like many, when I seek out the Mother's Day gifts to give the new moms on my list, I like to seek out the products that I found of use when I had babies in the home. Being able to wear Zoey while trying to get things done around the house, or out and about makes things easier when my hands are free. This Ring Sling is easy to use and adjust, and my little Zoey loves being snuggled in it and against me. It is very comfortable to wear and easy to put her in and out of. The Ring Sling is made for babies 8-35 pounds, great for nursing on the go or to use as a nursing cover, made with 100% cotton, hand loomed, uses breathable fabric, a top quality aluminum ring, lightweight fabric so no one gets too warm, and you can machine wash and dry. They have different colors available as well allowing you to get the colors that coordinate best with your style. 

For me personally, this is my first experience with a ring sling and I love it! It is much more comfortable than a traditional carrier, and my baby can tuck her little legs up into a frog like position instead of spreading  her legs around me. She is much more comfortable this way and doesn't fuss. Which makes the Hip Baby Wrap Ring Sling a great product and I highly recommend getting one to use if you have a baby or to give to the new mom in your life this Mother's Day.

Keep Your Kids Safe with The Joey Tag

With the summer plans being made for those vacations we all look forward to going on this year, many of us find that aside from having the gear in the vehicle and for traveling with that can help to keep our families safe that we also want to ensure our kids safety while we are enjoying our time. Like many kids, ours will be heading to those amusement parks, running and playing with friends, and spending time at the beach. And like many parents, both myself and Heather find that we want to ensure that when our kids are out playing and enjoying the vacation time that they are safe and can be found easily even when they do not hear us calling their names. So when we were sent The Joey Tag to review, I knew that Heather would like to check it out and share her thoughts on this amazing child safety wearable with our readers!



This review is for "The Joey Tag".  This is a GPS tracking device that your child can wear, giving you tracking information directly to your Smart Phone. For the most part, all of our kids have been good about following direction, staying in their boundaries etc., however, I would be lying if I said they were perfect. Every now and again, one of the kids will wander off in a direction not allowed, and as soon as we realize it, the search begins. Which for many parents including myself is frustrating and scary.  

Well, this device really helps alleviate that anxiety that parents can feel when the kids are playing. You can attach this to your wanderer, they cannot remove it, and voila, you get notified as soon as they are out of range. Plus, it will pinpoint their location, taking the guess work out of the search for the kids when they wander. How great is that? I mean you hear stories about a child wandering off and drowning in a pool, getting lost in a field or the woods, or walking off with someone they do not know. This can certainly help prevent that too. If you worry like we do, this Joey Tag can really help.  Incredibly useful and needed especially when out at amusement parks, at the park, or for using on your child who likes to wander. Because we all know that this can be a scary world and us parents need all the help we can get. And with those little ones who can really move fast, this can really be a handy helper for parents and caregivers to use. Making the Joey Tag a child safety wearable that we highly recommend when you have kids.

Build a... Butterfly or T-Rex Model by Kiki Ljung

When it comes to finding those books and activities that the kids will enjoy, I like ensure that we have a variety on hand. Like many who home school, Heather and her family find that the enjoy having a selection as well, especially the ones that keep the kids engaged. So when we were sent the Build a... Butterfly and T-Rex Model by Kiki Ljung from Quarto Knows to review, I knew that Heather and her kids would be excited to check them out and share their thoughts! My kiddos like to read books or have books read to them. So when we received Build A Butterfly and Build A T-Rex books, we were curious to check them out. Not only are these educational but also interactive. The pieces pop out easily to build the 3-D models, and they are just as easily disassembled and put back in the book for safe keeping to build over and over again. 

Along with the amazing fact that you get to build a butterfly, you also get to learn about their body parts, where they live, how they find food, their life cycle, and how far they travel. With the t-Rex you learn about their prey, their body parts, and their extinction. These are great for imagination play and gets them involved with hands on play as well and I like that these books grab their attention. Which makes the Build a... Butterfly or T-Rex Model by Kiki Ljung a must have for any kids who like to find fun ways to build and learn!
