Let Them Go Wild This Holiday Season With The Animal Planet Wildlife Tree House (Holiday Guide)

Product Received

When I do my holiday shopping for my kids, I like to keep their likes and interests in mind. With my kids, they adore animals and one channel the kids love that is filled with animals is Animal Planet. So when I was sent the Animal Planet Wildlife Tree House to review, I knew that this would be a great play set that my kids could literally go wild with! There are 75 pieces in this set, with 36 tree pieces, 18 structural pieces, 2 monkeys, 2 elephants, 3 figures, 19 accessories, leaving the exploration and fun opportunities endless! With this set my kids will be able to play like they have a jungle rangers station tree house.
The monkeys can swing in the branches and the rangers can ride on the elephant with the baby elephant following behind. Or take a ride on the four wheeler, to trek through the rough terrain of the jungle! They can set up the bridge to be a hidden bridge in the jungle and walk across the ancient hidden bridge! The kids can create their own animal shows and be the hosts, going on safari and more! The adventures my kids will have with this set is endless. So if you are looking for a great gift to get the kids, then check out the Animal Planet Wildlife Tree House!!!

Peaches vs. Katie: Whose Side Are You On? (Guest Post)

Katie Hopkins has done it again. The opinionated former-reality TV star stirred up yet more controversy in a debate on ITV's This Morning, when she and Bob Geldof's 24-year-old daughter Peaches met to discuss the pros and cons of attachment parenting. For anyone who missed it, this is the idea that parents should form a close relationship with babies by feeding them on demand and having them share their parents' bed, in an effort to aid emotional bonding and a sense of wellbeing. Although many viewers deemed Peaches the winner of the live TV debate, Katie didn't lose any time in hitting back in her column for The Sun, claiming that her opponent only appeared victorious because she got 'an easy ride'.

The two mothers - both clad in flattering blue dresses - appeared on This Morning on Tuesday 12th November. While Geldof spouted off the virtues of attachment parenting, Hopkins cast it as 'new age nonsense', drawing particular mention to a photo of Peaches talking on the phone as her son Astala fell out of his push chair and onto the pavement.

However, the crucial elements of the debate have been somewhat lost in the resulting fall-out from the This Morning piece. Both celebs have taken to Twitter to defend themselves and smear each other in equal measure. Peaches immediately tweeted 'I think I know who won that one' and added that Katie had been 'shaking' when they left the set: 'The panto witch finally met her match!' she crowed. A few days later, Katie's column for The Sun claimed that Peaches had 'never worked a hard shift in her life' and only agreed to join her on the This Morning sofa if Katie toned down her usual aggression, something Katie branded as the actions of a  'spoilt child'. Predictably, this triggered a fresh wave of tweets from Peaches, furiously calling Katie's column 'pure lies'.

Parenting styles will always attract controversy, with each mother and father bitterly defending their own strategies to the hilt. Whether you agree with attachment parenting or not, This Morning's TV debate and the mud-slinging that followed seems to have missed the point, with the pair conducting the matter rather like children themselves. Katie Hopkins has wholly embraced the role of public enemy and it's no longer a great surprise to hear personal and intensely rude comments from her on a wide variety of issues, often around the matter of families and children. What is more surprising is that people still bother to engage her in debate, whether in person or online, since these inevitably turn into juvenile catty competitions.

The only people to benefit from this uncomfortable clash were gleeful producers who saw their viewing figures soar. While Peaches might have given a more convincing argument on set, the following social media ranting proves her immaturity rather than a victory in a matter that is actually quite personal to each parent. The verdict? A tap on the wrist and early bedtime for both.

The big break that the kids are looking forward to will be here soon. The time for family, fun, and a time for making memories over the coming holiday season! After Christmas day comes and goes, the kids will be at home, and as a parent it is time to find ways to continue celebrating, continue making those holiday memories, so when the kids head back to school after the Christmas Break, they can have some great stories to share with their friends! One way we can continue making those days of the holiday break memorable is by taking our kids to Chuck E. Cheese's! For me, I know that when we go to Chuck E. Cheese's, aside from dinning on the pizza, my kids look forward to playing the games, and being the fun loving parent I am, I want my kids to play as many games as they can, I also want to be able to get the best deals on tokens if I can, because that means, more tokens, more fun!! As I plan out our holiday vacation time, after Christmas is over, I will be planning on putting some trips to Chuck E. Cheese's in there, and I will be getting the best deals on tokens because I will be getting $7.50 in savings on tokens when I purchase the Tyson Cheesy Chicken Nuggets and Jolly Time Blast O Butter Popcorn! When I purchase my Tyson Cheesy Chicken Nuggets, I will find my $25 deal for 130 tokens and with the Jolly Time Blast O Butter, I will find a $18 deal for 100 tokens! Aside from those great deals that I will be taking full advantage of, I want to make sure I get the most tokens and save on the tokens I get the kids so I will also be taking advantage of getting the kids $25 gift cards for their stockings so they can get an additional 200 tokens to use on top of the other great token offers, giving my kids plenty of tokens to play as many games as they can, and have some great memories to share with their friends when they head back to school after the break this year! Well to help with keeping the kids busy over the holidays and also with making lasting memories for them to be able to share with their friends, the wonderful people from Chuck E.
