SodaSparkle #Giveaway #RC CLOSED!!

In my home, we love soda. I know that not only can soda be a little pricey, but it is also not healthy for us to drink. My kids know that if they have a good week at school, they will be rewarded with a soda on the weekend, then with my husband and I, we are soda junkies. My husband more so, I tend to lean towards tea and water more often, but I still have my habit of drinking a soda at least once a day. Recently I was sent a new device that can help not only decrease the amount of sugars that we consume when we drink soda, but also alleviate the amount of bottles we go through and save us some money all at the same time! I was sent the SodaSparkle to review, and one thing that we noticed right away, was how easy it was to use. In fact, it was so easy, that Robert, who is 4, was able to make a bottle of soda on the first try, under our supervision of course! With the SodaSparkle flavors, we not only get those delicious flavors that we enjoy already with our sugary sodas, but the flavors are fresh, natural, delicious and both sugar free and preservative free! We can choose from a great variety of flavors as well which include Lemon, Orange, Cranberry, Apple, Lychee, Pineapple, Tonic and Cola/Lemon!
Another huge plus that I love about the SodaSparkle system is that the bottles are PET free and BPA free, which means even less harsh chemicals that I would have to worry about my family consuming. To make your bottle of soda using the SodaSparkle system, you just need some cold tap water. Then, fill to the marked line, twist on the top with the disposable charger and watch it carbonate the water, then once it is done, add your flavor and enjoy a nice, fresh bottle of soda!! Well, since we loved the SodaSparkle so much in our home, the wonderful people from SodaSparkle would like to send one of my amazing readers their own SodaSparkle!!!

#Giveaway $50 ShindigZ Gift Card #RC CLOSED!

I can not believe how fast time flies by. This weekend we celebrated my daughter's 9th birthday. It seems like it was just yesterday that I was bringing her home from the hospital and enjoying all of those first time mom moments with her. It also seems like every year, her tastes and style is changing and so as these years go by, I can no longer take on planning her party. I want her birthdays to be special and something that she and her friends will all enjoy, so for the past few years she has been able to pick out her birthday party supplies. This year, she and her friends all seem to be obsessed with Monster High. When I asked her if she had a theme in mind for her party, she did not hesitate and right away said that she wanted a Monster High party. Once I knew what theme she wanted, it was up to me to find a party pack that had her theme. It was not hard to find exactly what she wanted when we went to the ShindigZ website. We right away found the party pack that she wanted, and with all of the great party favors to choose from, Estrella was able to put together some pretty awesome party favor packs for her friends to enjoy!!
With the Monster High party pack, we were sent the decorations and tableware that would make her party the Monster High party that she wanted! We were sent enough tableware for 8, but since we had more than 8 kids coming this year, we were able to add more tableware to the mix that matched her party pack very easily. Estrella loved putting together the party favor bags which were of course Monster High bags, and in the bags each girl got a sheet of Monster High stickers, a Monster High pencil, some glittery nail polish, a note pad, guitar bubbles, those awesome feather clips that we used to love getting when we were kids, and a daisy swirl lip gloss. Estrella was also able to get a really groovy peace sign pinata and a bag of fillers to put in her pinata. When it came to setting up, we loved being able to use the streamers that came in the party pack, then also let the girls blow up balloons, which also came in the pack!
In all, Estrella 's party was great, and she and her guests were all very pleased with the decor, tableware and party favors that we got from ShindigZ, and I loved that we were able to get everything she wanted for her party at a very decent price!!! Well, since the amazing people from ShindigZ helped us furnish a great Monster High themed party, they would like to help one of my readers out with their own party by giving one of my amazing readers a $50 gift card!!

American Girl 2013 Girl of the Year + #Giveaway #RC CLOSED!

My daughter is a American Girl fanatic. She adores the American Girl collection, from the dolls to the books and everything in between. So when there are new dolls that are fixing to come out, she likes to be one of the first to know about the new girl and one of the first to have the doll as well. We live in Texas, so when we found out that the 2013 Girl of the Year was going to be a country girl, my daughter knew that this new girl would make for a perfect addition to her collection! She was so right too, when Saige arrived, one of the first things my daughter noticed and right away loved was her hair. She loved how long her hair was and how it was braided to the side, which is a style that my daughter has been going with lately. She also noticed right away that Saige had these adorable boots on, and that Saige's fashion style was a lot like hers! One of the first things that had to be done, which has been a tradition since Estrella first started collecting American Girl dolls and books, was to read Saige's story, so that she could get to know her and learn about her. Estrella loves art and she also loves animals, which includes horses, and when Estrella started reading Saige's book, she really liked that Saige has the same interests and passions that she does. I love that even though Estrella seems to always find something that she can relate to when it comes to the girls in the American Girl line, she was able to right away relate to and bond with Saige. Saige is a girl full of passion for the things that she loves and she uses that passion with her creativity to show that anyone can make a difference! So if you have a little country girl or a lover of the American Girl dolls, then you are going to want to add this years girl of the year, Saige, to your collection!!
Along with Saige, we were also sent the awesome book, The Care & Keeping of You- The Body Book for Girls. This was the perfect book for my daughter and her friends to read. They are at that age where they have questions and things are beginning to change in their bodies. My daughter also has older step sisters, so when we began to read this book, she pointed out that there were things that the book talked about that her sisters are going through. This book goes over a variety of things that affect girls from what to eat, bras, hair care, to pimples and periods. We found this book to be a great one to have and to share with other girls as well.
Well, since the wonderful people from American Girl love sharing what is new with my daughter and I as well as my readers, they would like to send some great books to one of my readers!! One lucky reader will get the new book about this years girl of the year Saige as well as one of the Express Yourself books for girls!!
