When it comes to preparing for a new baby, regardless of the weather, it is always best to prepare yourself for anything when it comes to the new baby. Our new baby will be joining us in September, and shortly after his arrival, the cold weather will be upon us. We are a family that tends to spend quite a bit of time outdoors when the weather permits. During the Fall season we have sports that our kids are active in, which means we are outdoors attending these events, even when the weather is chilly. I learned with my daughter, that little ones will kick their blankets off, and blankets can also get caught up in stroller wheels or slide off of a car seat. Also when you try to wrap a blanket around a baby carrier, you want to make sure your baby is warm, but you can leave holes or openings where cold air can get in and chill your baby. With this baby, I plan on being prepared before the cold weather gets here.
