These past couple of months have been busy over here at Mommy Katie. We first welcomed Heather as a new writer to the Mommy Katie family, and within a few weeks of welcoming her, she and her family welcomed little Zoey! Zoey was taking her time to make her appearance, but since early March when she arrived, we have all been in love with that little lady, and since her arrival, we have also been excited to check out and review some of the latest and greatest when it comes to products for baby. Gifted in Select Theaters April 7th

When it comes to finding those new movies to go and see with my husband on our date nights, we find that we like to watch a variety of movies. From the romantic or action packed movies to the ones where you get a great, heart felt story to watch, we like a variety of genres to go and see. And like many who have seen the previews for it, we are looking forward to making it a date night to go and see the new movie Gifted. So when we heard that starting on Friday, April 7th, Gifted will be playing in select theaters, we were ecstatic to check out local listings and skip ahead of the April 21st date where Gifted will be available to watch in theaters everywhere.



With this movie you get an amazing story of a man, who takes on the role of a full time parent to his niece who is a very intelligent and gifted child after the death of her mother. The uncle wants to be able to give his niece a normal childhood, but finds that with a child like his niece, there really is not a whole lot of normal.

The two learn that they must navigate this life together, and through their journey, they realize that life is full of twists and turns, and not all are bad. Which makes the adding of the new movie Gifted to your next date night, a must see! So be sure to check your local listings to see if Gifted will be available at a theater near you on April 7th, and if it is not, mark your calendar for April 21st when Gifted will be available to go and see at theaters everywhere!
