The kids are home for the summer and like many parents, I am always seeking out those toys and games to keep them from sitting on the couch and heading outdoors so they can enjoy their time. When it comes to the activities and games that I look for, I like to find the ones that can involve the entire family as well as fun games that the kids can engage their friends in. So when we were sent the COOP Scatter Dodgeball to review, I was excited to take it out for my kids and their friends to play with.
With this game of dodgeball you get that classic game with a whole new twist on it that turns the game up a notch or two! There is a foam ball, a large foam dice and 12 wristbands that come in 6 colors. To get started the kids gather in a circle, hand out the wristbands where everyone gets 2 of one color, up to 6 players, then someone rolls the dice. Whichever color that the dice lands on, the player with that color of wristband is it, and then gets the ball as the other players scatter. The one who is it with the ball must then start trying to get the other players by throwing the ball at them, if the player hits someone that player must surrender their wristband to the ball person. The player at the end of the game with the most wristbands wins! Making COOP Scatter Dodgeball a great game to get and have for your kids to play this summer!

The kids are out of school and the summer is upon us. Like many, when it comes to my toddler as well as older kids, I find that their little minds are amazing. They are constantly going and learning along the way, and with the summer upon us I seek out activities as well as foods to help make our days that much better. For my little guy, he is one who loves his breakfasts, from having some yogurt and granola, to a bowl of fresh fruit. So when we were introduced to the new Go & Grow by Similac® Mix-Ins™ . I was excited to check them out and add them to some of our favorite summer foods!
Being that my little guy loves yogurt and fresh fruits, I decided to make a great yogurt mix for him using the Go & Grow by Similac® Mix-Ins™. I chose to create a Go & Grow by Similac® Mix-Ins™ banana and berry delicious toddler summer mix yogurt topped with granola. To get started with this toddler approved and toddler friendly breakfast, I headed to my local Walmart where I was able to pick up both the Go & Grow by Similac® Mix-Ins™ to use for the yogurt recipe and some Go & Grow by Similac® Milk-Based Powder to use in drinks for my toddler as well. I was pleased to find both of these products in the formula section of my local Walmart.
1/2 cup plain yogurt *Use one packet of Go & Grow by Similac® Mix-Ins™ for one serving (or ½ cup of food)
1 tbsp granola (can use rolled oats )
Add yogurt, 1 packet of Go & Grow by Similac® Mix-Ins™, and fruit to blender then blend until fruit is chopped and mixed well in yogurt. Put in bowl then top with your choice of granola or rolled oats and serve!
We found the Go & Grow by Similac® Mix-Ins™ berry delicious toddler summer yogurt mix to not only be a great way to start our days, but also a great way for me to add extra nutrition to my little guy’s foods. To get started print off alphabet printable below and color wheel (set to a 5x7 and shrink to fit in printer settings for color wheel) Cut out the letters - Get a piece of cardboard and cut out to make a spinner board for color wheel to fit on. Cut out the color wheel - glue color wheel the to cardboard and cut out a arrow to fit on board, get a brad - push the brad through the back of the board and arrow to fit in middle of board then turn the board back over. Place the arrow on top of the color wheel that is glued to the cardboard and push the brad through then fasten on back of board.
How To Play: Get crayons to match colors on wheel. Set out letters in no specific order on table or floor with letters facing up. First player spins wheel, player then picks the crayon that matches that color. Player must then choose the correct letter starting with A and ending the game with Z. If player chooses correct letter they color the letter then collect it in pile, if the player chooses incorrect letter then it is the next players turn, one with most letters at end wins!

The summer is upon us and with that we not only have the kids home but we also have the beautiful weather and the summer parties.
