Sharing our #PEEPSONALITY this Summer with Peeps

The summer is here, and we are taking advantage of those nice summer days, spending them with the kids, enjoying the outdoors, and taking every bit of the time we have with the kids before the new school year starts up. With that, we enjoy spending a lot of time in the water, and enjoying snacks while we play. To help with some of our fun summer adventures, we were sent a great pack of Peeps products, so this summer, we can really show off and share our Peepsonality!

Now I know most people think of Peeps and think of the Spring with Easter and such, but for those Peeps lovers like myself and the kids, well, we know different! In fact we were sent some of the fun new Peeps Minis flavors to try and review while we enjoy our summer days together! The new Peeps Minis include the Sour Watermelon, Strawberry Creme, and the Chocolate Creme!

Along with our fun, resealable bags of Peeps Minis, we also got a fun pail to use while playing in the dirt, a beach tote, which Estrella finds as a perfect bag to take when we head to the pool and waterparks this summer, a fun Peeps towel and Tumbler, which have also become part of Estrella's water park ensemble, and a fun Peeps Luggage Tag, which will come in handy for any of those summer vacations we might take! Making this great selection of Peeps products, a great way for us to show and share our Peepsonality this summer!

You and your Peeps, can show off your Peepsonlity this summer too, by heading over to peepsandcompany.com and finding not only the new Peeps Minis flavors we were sent to try, but also finding all of the summer products we were sent and so much more!

Gearing the Kids up with Boots from Western Chief Kids

The back to school shopping season is upon us, and ensuring the kids are geared up for whatever might come their way this year is my aim. I think one thing that I like to do, especially with the rain we get here, is having rain gear on hand for any given rainy day. I mean, no one likes to put on a pair of shoes, step outside while it is raining to step in a puddle, then end up wearing wet shoes for the rest of the day, and when my kids go to school on days where it is wet outside, I want their feet and clothes to remain as dry as possible. Aside from the school days, I also have a toddler, who seems to think that all puddles have to be jumped in, no matter how big or small, or how much mud is in the puddle, to him, the more water the better and the mud, well that is just a added perk. So having rain boots and jackets for the kids is a must and something I have on my back to school list!

To help with finding rain gear for the kids, that will not only help to keep their feet dry but also help with keeping their clothes dry, I was sent some pretty fashionable rain gear from Western Chief Kids! For Robert, he is all boy, and he loves anything camo, so when we were sent the incredibly awesome Lighted Camo rain boots, that light up on the bottoms as he walks and jumps in puddles, we knew they would be a great fit! For Estrella, my stylish diva who sees pink as a staple color, we were sent the very adorable Pop Solid Hot Pink boots, which will sure help her make that divalicious fashion statement this year, even when the rain is coming down!

Then for my toddler, my curious little explorer who is drawn to puddles from all walks of life, we were sent the very adorable, and toddler approved, Thomas and Friends coordinating rain gear, which includes some very awesome rain boots that have handles on the tops, making the pulling on of these boots a easy task for my big boy! To go along with his very cool boots, Wyatt can wear his Thomas and Friends rain coat, which not only has that adorable engine on it, but also has a hood on the top, so when we have a rainy day, my little toddler can find himself playing in it anytime we are out in the rain! Making the rain gear from Western Chief Kids products, a must have, when making those back to school shopping lists this year!

#Giveaway Back to School Shopping for Glasses from JCPenney ($30 Gift Card)

I received a JCPenney gift card for the purpose of this review. This post was made possible by Mom Spark Media. Thoughts are my own.

When it comes to the kids and the back to school shopping, there are a lot of avenues that need to be covered in order to make sure the kids are ready to head back to school. There is also a lot of money that we end up spending to get the back to school shopping done, and for me, I aim to find ways to save my family as much money as I can while we do our shopping each year. This year, as we have done in previous years, I take the kids for their annual eye exams, and at this point in the kids lives, Estrella is the only one who needs glasses in order to help her do her best when she is in school.

Like many parents who have kids who wear glasses, I know the costs behind glasses, and with kids, well they can be rough on glasses. So having glasses available that are affordable and that also offer a full replacement plan if needed, is very important for me when shopping for kids glasses. Well to help with shopping for the glasses for Estrella this back to school shopping season, I was told about the amazing sale that JCPenney Optical is having for kids glasses from now until September 15th, and given the chance to find some new glasses for Estrella!

With this promotion, you can take your children, school aged 16 and under, to your local JCPenney Optical, with your child's eye glasses prescription, and get a pair of glasses, any pair, under $120, for just $29.99!!! This price includes the frame of choice, which does not have to be a kids frame style, opening the doors for a large range of frames to choose from, FREE impact & scratch-resistant polycarbonate lenses, FREE UV protection and FREE eyeglass protection plan!

You can imagine that when I headed to our local JCPenney Optical recently, to get Estrella a pair of glasses, and her realizing the options that were available to her, she was very excited! I mean, she was thrilled to have a variety of glasses to choose from, and when we shop at the JCPenney Optical, they have the hottest styles, in stock, ready to try on, and order, to ensure you that your kids are not only equipped with the eyeglass prescription they need when going back to school, but also giving the frame style they want to help boost their confidence when wearing glasses this school year!

As a parent, I liked the ease of going in, letting my daughter try on the frames she liked, find that perfect glasses frame she just had to have, placing our order, which included making sure we got the right fit, giving the prescription to the amazingly nice and helpful associate, and walking out knowing that Estrella will be very happy once her glasses arrive! I found it a huge plus not only being able to get free lenses, free scratch resistant coating, free UV protection, but also getting a protection plan included in the amazing price of $29.99! I also liked knowing the time frame for when her glasses will arrive, so she will have them in time for school!!

So this year, as you get all of those back to school items on your lists marked off, if you are also needing glasses for your kids this year, be sure to head to JCPenney Optical, where you can find all glasses under $120 for just $29.99 for your kids under 16, for a limited time! Well to help with getting your kids glasses this year, the wonderful people from JCPenney Optical would like to give one of my amazing readers a $30 gift card to JCPenney!
