With the Oscars come and gone, there are many moments to look back on. Like when your favorite actor went up on the stage to accept his or her award for the part they played, or for when your favorite movie of the year was nominated and you were sitting on edge to see if it took an award that night. I have found that being able to spend the night of the awards with friends to be the way to do it. I love gathering around the TV and eating snacks, then watching the nominees and each of us guessing or hoping on who will win or what show will win. This year, even though we ended up spending the big night in the hospital with a sick baby, we still set up a great party with our friends. To help us get our Oscars Party going we were sent some great, reusable popcorn canisters, champagne flutes and a box of the amazingly delicious
Merci Chocolates. I ended up doing my end of the party over the phone with my husband and a couple of our friends, and one thing that we did that was fun was come up with our own toasts. Since I was only able to enjoy the chocolates that I packed for the hospital, I did a toast to the wonderful chocolates that I was able to enjoy for the night. I was amazed on how smooth they were and how incredibly tasty they were, so toasting to the chocolates was easy. We had friends who toasted to the night, and to their favorite movies and nominations. We ended up making the best out of a not so great evening, and I enjoyed being able to share the night with my husband and friends over the phone and during the Oscars! Well, since I was sent a great pack of items that are perfect for celebrations and great for those moments when you find a toast to be necessary, I will be giving one of my amazing readers the same pack of items that I was sent!
