Fathead #Giveaway #RC CLOSED!

My Robert is a huge Star Wars fanatic. Sure, he may only be 4 years old, but he knows more about the Star Wars movies than I do, and over the past year, he has wanted anything and everything to do with Star Wars. One of the things that my husband and I have decided to do for him was to change the theme in his room to a Star Wars theme. We have found the bedding, and a friend of ours gave him a custom Star Wars toy box, but something that we thought would really stand out and that Robert would really like would be a giant Star Wars picture on his wall. We had looked around at many different posters and such, but nothing really stood out until we found the ultimate wall decoration from Fathead, where we found a great collection of Star Wars wall graphics at Fathead.com! When we saw the Millennium Falcon we knew that this was exactly what we were looking for. I love how big it is and how much detail it has. I also love, that even though this wall graphic is enormous, it was not that hard to put up. When it came in it was rolled up in a tube, then after we flattened it out on the floor and let it sit there for the amount of time that was on the instructions, it was ready to be taken to his room and put up. We were worried about it rolling back on itself while we were putting it up, but after following the instructions, we did not have any issues with putting it up. Then once we had it up, it was time to reveal it to our Robert. He was ecstatic, and could not believe how cool it was. We still had a few wall graphics left and Robert decided that he wanted to make his room an official Star Wars room by putting the Star Wars wall graphic on his door!
Not only were we very pleased with the outcome, but Robert was as well, and we also know that when we are looking for entertainment themed wall graphics or if anyone we know is, we will go to Fathead.com and be able to find just what we are looking for there! Well, since we love our Fathead and had such an amazing experience from easy navigation and selection on the site to putting up our Fathead in our house, the wonderful people from Fathead would like to give one of my amazing readers their own Fathead!!

Child Safety Concerns (Guest Post)

Child Safety Concerns
A child’s safety is of utmost importance to a parent. Our
children rely on us for strength and care. While we can’t protect our children
from every danger in life, there are things we can do to keep them safe from
everyday hazards. There are many safety courses and information packets
available to new parents. You would be surprised at the things we can overlook.

Childproof the house.
Whether you are bringing home a newborn baby or just keeping up with your busy
children, make sure your home is childproofed to the best of your ability. Keep
plastic covers over electric sockets, set the temperature of your hot water
heater to 120 degrees to prevent any scalding or burns, keep smoke alarms and
carbon monoxide detectors in working order. You can also utilize baby gates,
knob covers, appliance locking straps, stove guards and other safety products.
Scan the house regularly for potential hazards, such as small items or toys on
the floor, balloons, magnets, marbles or other choking or tripping risks.

Watch for toy recalls.
Toy recalls are more common than we would like them to be. Sometimes there is a
problem with a few toys during manufacture, but you should heed a recall just
to be safe. The U.S.
Consumer Product Safety Commission is one resource for any toy recalls.
Also, ensure your children are playing with toys appropriate for their age
group. Little pieces can be a choking hazard for toddlers.

Keep up on nutrition and
health needs
. Children can easily become dehydrated if they do not drink
enough, particularly if they are spending a lot of time outside in hot weather.
Never leave your children locked in a car alone, especially during extreme
weather. Have regular checkups to ensure general health and to screen for early
prevention of disease. Ensure your children are getting adequate nutrition for their age group.

Teach your children
about poison risks
. Remember the Mr. Yuck stickers our parents used to
place on household chemicals and other potential poison risk items around the
house? We knew if there was that Mr. Yuck face on something that we shouldn’t
touch it. This is still a great practice to have with your children. If they
are old enough, try to explain some of the dangers of ingesting medications,
household cleaners and the like. Impress the importance of avoiding any product
that has the sticker on it. You can also purchase devices to keep cabinet
doors closed from toddler hands. Even rubber bands work in a pinch.

Hershey's Valentines #Giveaway CLOSED!

Valentines Day is not that far away, and it is that time of year to make an excuse to eat lots of chocolate, or at least that is how I view it! I love the different holidays throughout the year, and Valentines Day is one that I have always loved, but have found it to be more fun now that I have kids. Sure, I love getting those yummy chocolates from my husband each year and going to dinner with him, but now that I have kids and with them being in school, I can also have fun with Valentines Day for them as well. I love being able to give my kids Valentines on Valentines Day, and I also love helping their classes with their Valentines Day parties. I remember as a kid, getting Valentines for my classmates and handing them out, then also getting all of the Valentines from them as well. I also remember giving the teacher a Valentine, which was always something a little extra special. One candy that my daughter loves is Twizzlers, so when we were sent some of the Valentines Day candies from Hershey's this year, she was very excited to not only see the Twizzlers, but to see that they are Valentines that she can give out to her friends this year! Both Estrella and Robert loved that there were a couple of extras, like the Hershey's Golden Apple and the Giant Hershey's Kisses that they can give to their teachers. I know that every year, whether the kids choose to go with the candy Valentines or with their favorite character Valentines, we like to give everyone some candy. So since Robert will be going with some super hero Valentines this year, I find the little Raspberry Hershey's Kisses to be the perfect candy to attach to his Valentines! Then for me, I get to indulge in the Hershey's Pot of Gold heart shaped candy box that is filled with chocolate bliss for myself and my husband to enjoy!! Another great thing about celebrating with Hershey's for Valentines Day is all of the great recipes I can make for the class parties, like the Krunchy Kisses Cookies which are made with Hershey's Kisses and Reese's Peanut Butter!!!
Well this Valentines Day, the wonderful people from Hershey's would like to help you celebrate by sending one of my amazing readers some really great Hershey's Valentines Day products!!
